Synaplex
Choices, Connections, Community
“Synaplex has totally changed life at Kol Ami in White Plains, New York. The success of Synaplex has confirmed the two basic assumptions that undergird this program: First, that the natural gathering time for Jews is on Shabbat and, second, that one program can’t meet everyone’s needs. What we have done is to take programs that were once scattered all over the week and bring them to a Synaplex Shabbat – so instead of 25 people showing up for an adult education class or lecture during the week, there are 200 or 300 adults who are part of this lecture on a Synaplex Friday night.” – Rabbi Shira Milgrom
